A network can be long to save when:[*:14teq117]the associated dataset is really large[/*:m:14teq117][*:14teq117]the network contains a lot of nodes[/*:m:14teq117][*:14teq117]the network is highly connected and you are saving the network with the Junction Tree[/*:m:14teq117]However, the most frequent reason does not have anything to do with the Bayesian network you are saving. The time for writing the XBL file can be really long when you are using a remote disk/repository, the saving process requiring lots of communication with the disk. The solution is then to have your working directory directly on the hard disk of your computer, and then, copying the final results to the remote folder when the study is over.
