Does anyone can precisely explain the difference between entropy and node force. Both entropy and node force are interpreted as importance of node (variable). How do you define node force? The BayesiaLab defines node force as the importance of node, while entropy is a measure of uncertainty and when it come to mutual information it can be interpreted as the importance of node. 

Any explanation is appreciated.

Whereas Entropy measures the uncertainty associated with the node (i.e. without taking into account any relationship with the other nodes), Node Force measures how evidence on the node allows reducing the uncertainty on the other nodes. Node Force is the sum of the Forces of the arcs directly connected to the node.
