I propose this is for talking about exactly what the BE license allows, from a software engineering standpoint. We need more precise info than bullet points in a PO/Quote. Anything we have to ask BL Support via email is something we should get spelled out upfront in clear, programmer-level terms. Meaning: what does it allow? What happens if not allowed? What happens in edge cases? Does it ever phone home? Assuming hands-on-keyboard as Java programmer or sysadmin. This is especially important when planning purchases, or when a license might be "burnable" if it gets tied to the wrong long-term host. Also helps get the most bang for the buck in terms of scale, performance, uptime.Mike

Hi Mike,I understand the point, however, as the terms of the license are, most of the time, adapted to the customer needs, it is not really possible to establish generic rules describing each kind of license. But, on the other hand, a more precise and clear description of what the license can allow would be great and could be established when asked by the customer.Mark
